M-Swift- The London Sessions
Description:
M-Swift is a music project led by Shohei Matsushita, who went to England to record and produce his first original album in seven years in London with a group of superb UK guests. The project name was changed to "M-Swift - The London Sessions," and as the title suggests, it has evolved greatly and is now a superb neo-soul jazz album! The album is the first album in 7 years to be released since the world-renowned M-Swift, Shohei Matsuoka, went to the UK by himself to work with top UK musicians in a session format. The second cut, the mellow jazzy soul of "My City" featuring NYC singer/percussionist Natalie Oliveri, was released on May 9, and the second single, "Come on up for a while" debuted at #2 on the iTunes Jazz Singles Chart. The 7" coupling "Spiritualizmic," a contemporary version of spiritual jazz with vocoder sounds and beautiful piano, was released on May 9.In addition to the single that became the talk of the town, the album also features a number of guest musicians, including Vanessa Haynes, the main vocalist of Incognito; Nate James, a nobleman of the neo-soul world; Shea Soul, a female singer who has been featured on Joey Negro's songs; and Steve and Pete Lewinson, known as former members of Simply Red. The album features a lineup of distinguished guest musicians such as Vanessa Haynes, who is a member of Simply Red, Nate James, a neo-soul nobleman, Shea Soul, a female singer featured on Joey Negro's songs, and Steve and Pete Lewinson, formerly of Simply Red.
