＜The 52nd issue of the "60's GARAGE ROCKIN' OLDAYS" reissue series, supervised by Jimmy Masuko and presented by All Days Records, couples two of the most exciting groups in the Boston scene in 1966! The Rockin' Ramrods were the first to respond to the Beatles fever in Massachusetts and Boston in 1964. Backed by Freddie Cannon, the Rockin' Ramrods were the first to release the original killer garage "She Lied" in April 1964. After that, Frank Slay took the pop route, but left behind Twilight Garage by Ron Campisi, represented by "Bright Lit BLue Skies". The Lost, from Goddard College, took over from Boston's top band, the Remains, and split their popularity with the Rockin' Ramrods. Although the band disbanded after only three singles at the Capitol, Willie Alexander would go on to become a legendary musician on the Boston scene.Follow in the footsteps of the Rockin' Ramrods and the Lost, two of the biggest groups on the Boston scene in 1966.
