Pushwagner (kunstnernavn for Terje Brofos, født 1940 i Oslo) begynte arbeidet med billedromanen Soft City i 1969, og gjorde den ferdig i London på midten av 1970-tallet. Men kofferten med originalene forsvant, og var borte i mer enn tjue år før den dukket opp igjen i Oslo i 2002. Originaltegningene ble stilt ut ved Berlin-biennalen for samtidskunst og Sydney-biennalen i 2008, i tillegg har de vært stilt ut ved Gøteborg-biennalen i 2009,  i den Haag, i Luzern Kunstmuseum i 2015 mm.

Soft City regnes som et av Pushwagners hovedverk, og vi har til nå trykt boka i 6 opplag.

It's an absolute masterpiece of comics, and looks as if it was drawn yesterday. Pushwagner shows an understanding of the medium and its visual power that I don't think many, if any, young cartoonists of today can even grasp.
