I chose the cardamom because, like all seeds, it’s all about potential, the change from one thing to another, new beginnings – birth and renewal. All of life is contained in a seed, which is such a potent symbol.

I love the cardamom because it has the most extraordinary smell; a lot of places put cardamom pods in their coffee machines to generate the incredible aroma mixed with coffee.
