The first album from London's most exciting new band, Bar Italia! Bar Italia, consisting of London-based Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tariq Fehmi, and Sam Fenton, has released their latest album on the prestigious Matador Records label! Over the past few years, Bar Italia has consistently released singles and EPs, including two albums on Dean Brandt's World Music label. Members Jezmi and Sam have also been active as double-vagos, and have been hotly sought after by indie listeners, including their catalog on Vegyn's "PLZ Make It Ruins" label. This album was self-produced and recorded by the members, and mixed by Marta Saloni, who has worked with everyone from Bjork and Depeche Mode to Black Midi.The album includes 15 songs, including the first single "Nurse!", which was acclaimed by various media as a highly addictive post-punk ballad, and other songs that are so tasteful they sound as if Joy Division and King Krule had a session.
