A portrait of the Barcelona upper class, amidst political and economic intrigues, love affairs and unspeakable secrets. Diego returns from Italy and settles in the coastal town where he spent summers during his childhood. He has another long summer ahead of him before taking up his post as director of the Museum of Contemporary History in Barcelona. During his stay, he comes into contact with the Pons couple and her sister. A relationship is woven between the four characters in which social status, economic ambition and the unstable territory of desires intertwine, while little by little Diego's past, which led him to leave for Italy, emerges.
