Los Angeles-based vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Hemmerline's solo project, Low Fang, debuts on <4AD>! This is a masterpiece of skill and talent, a blend of R&B, electronica, classical and folk music, filtered through the filter of pop. The cosmic electronics featuring violin, cello, bass, piano, and guitar are blended with beautiful vocal harmonies to create an incredibly epic sound. The album was composed in Cambodia and London and recorded in Maryland and Nashville while traveling the world. The album was produced by François Theta, the talented engineer who mixed "Somebody That I Used To Know", the world's best-selling single of 2012 and winner of the Grammy Award for "Best Record" by Gauthier, and which reached #1 in the US and UK charts. In 2013, he will be touring the U.S. with Grammy-nominated breakout artist Lorde, who has garnered a lot of attention.
