Manuel Gettings is a Krautrock legend who has had a major impact on the dance music scene. This is the memorable first live performance by the "Ash La Tempel Experience", a timed project created to showcase the repertoire of the German rock legend he once led, Ash La Tempel, at the "Supersense Festival", a summer festival held in Melbourne, Australia. Live CD is now on sale! The CD features the band's live performance at "Supersense Festival" on August 8, 2015, including a medley of songs from 1973's "Seven Up" and "Look at Your Sun" from 1972's "Schwingungen", The sound is progressive, meditative, bluesy, electronic, and cosmic, and is very much in the vein of Asch La Tempel or early Gettings. The members of this project are Ariel Pink (vo,ba), a popular US indie artist, Oren Ambarchi (dr), an ambient musician known for his releases on Touch and Mego, and Shaggs Chamberlain (sin), who also plays on Ariel Pink's "Pom Pom". This out-of-this-world "experience" created quite a stir, and has since sporadically taken the stage in various locations, attracting many music fans old and new.The domestic distribution version includes Japanese bilingual version of the liner notes by Getting himself.
