Enjoy the easiest way to make the typical Italian coffee, thanks to the automatic switch-off and keep-warm features: Coffee will never ever overflow. The brewing process of Moka espresso is unique and fascinating to watch, and thanks to the transparent container, you can monitor the entire brewing process without removing the lid.

Simply fill the aluminium boiler with water and the filter with your choice of ground coffee. The water is boiled in the bottom compartment, ensuring it reaches the ideal temperature for infusing with the ground coffee. Once this point is reached, the pressure of steam forces the water up through the coffee, and into the top compartment, all is done within 3-4 minutes.

How to make the moka/espresso coffee:
1) Check that the coffee maker is cold, and then unscrew it by holding the boiler with one hand and turning the pitcher anticlockwise with the other.
2) Remove the funnel and , to prepare 6 cups of coffee, fill the boiler with fresh water until reaching the safety valve (visible inside the boiler), without exceeding it. On the other hand, to prepare 3 cups, fill the boiler with water to the mark (at round 2 centimeters) below the safety valve.
3) Insert the funnel filter in the boiler. To prepare six cups of coffee, also insert the 6 cup adapter in the funnel filter.
4) Fill the funnel filter with ground coffee, without pressing it. Fill it a little at a time to prevent spilling the ground coffee.
5) Distribute the ground coffee evenly and remove any excess coffee from the edge of the filter.
IMPORTANT: Use good quality, medium-ground coffee, for Moka/Espresso coffee makers.
6) Tighten the coffee maker securely , without over doing it, holding the boiler with one hand and turning the pitcher clockwise with the other, without pushing on the handle.
7) Rest the coffee maker on the base then close the lid.
8) Press the on/off switch.
9) The coffee will start to be released after a few minutes.
10) When the pitcher is full, mix the coffee for uniformity before serving it .

Tip: Use fresh and soft water. Salty or hard water will weaken the flower.
Tip: After each use, please thoroughly rinse interior with warm or cool water. Dry with a cloth. Hand wash funnel/disk filter and tamper. Dry thoroughly. Other parts can be wiped down with a cloth.
IMPORTANT: Upon first time using the moka/espress coffee maker, all the accessories and the internals should be washed with hot water. Then make a few batches of coffee to pour away.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the coffee maker without water in the boiler or alternatively using hot water for faster operation.
