Crafted from premium "Free Rise" Cellular PVC, they resist warping, shrinkage, decay, and insects without needing paint. Shipped in four panels, they're simple to cut to size, and with our efficient production runs, we ensure fast delivery to meet your project deadlines.The shaft is shipped in four easy-to-cut-to-size panels. All you need is a chop saw. Once the post is cut to size, the deep-panelled divider trim is applied on-site at any height.

Specifications:
The Recessed Panel Column Kit comes complete with all the necessary components for installation: a column shaft, Box capital and base set, 3 oz of PVC adhesive, tape, installation cleats, mounting hardware, and instructions.

The column shaft consists of four 1" thick PVC panels featuring a large lock mitre joint for seamless assembly without visible seams. It has an exterior dimension of 11 ⅞" and an interior dimension of 10" square.

The Ultra-smooth Premier Box Capital and Base, each ¾" thick, add a total of 1 ½" to the shaft's thickness, resulting in an overall footprint of 13 ½". For columns 4 to 6 feet high, both the capital and base are 3 ⅝" high. For columns 8 feet or taller, the base height increases to 7 ½".

Additionally, our recessed panelled PVC columns feature adjustable dividers that can be slid into place on-site, allowing for custom panel sizing to match your railing height or design preference.

Notes:
-The 4ft column shafts are true 47" and the 8ft column shafts are true 95", which will be 48" / 96" once the Capital has been added.
-For our 9-foot column: Typically, the capital and Base wrap around the column shaft. To ship our 9-foot column by UPS, the eight-foot (95") shaft sits on top of the Base.  The Box Capital and Base are taller, giving you a combined height of 9 feet.
-For columns 8 feet or higher, we include a set of middle dividers (4 pieces). Middle dividers are not included for columns 6 feet or shorter but may be purchased additionally.  The dividers are taped in place but can be installed at any height to mount railings or suit your decorative preference.
