Perhaps Winston's visage betrayed an inadvertent reveal of disdain and repulsion, for the imposing figure in somber attire draws even nearer, shrouded eyes concealed behind the shield of mirrored aviator-esque spectacles.

"Is there something lingering upon your tongue, sir?" His words now bear the weight of intimidation. "No, sir! Nothing," Winston stammers with anxious alacrity, diverting his gaze with utmost discretion. "Very well, then. Proceed." The officer's voice subsides into a more measured, officious cadence.

"Remember, closed minds stop thought crimes. Let's move along."
