Producer/SSW Juliana Barwick, the wizard of voice ambient and captivator of everyone from Radiohead and Sigur Rós to Bon Iver, has released her album "Healing IsA Miracle". As she says, "When you cut your hand, for example, the wound may be painful, but two weeks later it looks and feels like it never happened. ...... Isn't this something amazing?" Inspired by the ability of nature to heal itself, the theme of the album is to follow the production process of following one's own sensibilities and seeing where it leads. The album also features a collaboration with Yoshi of Sigur Rós, who has been a close friend of the band since their 2013 album "Nepenthe" recorded in Reykjavik, Iceland; Mary Lattimore, a close ally of the band who successfully co-hosted a concert in Japan; and the band's current base of operations, LA, where they have moved to. The three guest artists on this album are Yonsei of Sigur Rós, with whom he has developed a close friendship since the release of "Nepenthe"; Mary Lattimore, a close ally of Yonsei's; and Nosadge Sing, a beatmaker with whom Yonsei has collaborated on a long-awaited album since moving to his current base in LA.This is the fourth album in four years and the first work to be transferred with The Cinematic Orchestra, Bonobo, and Floating Points.
