Chris Smithers is a legendary singer/songwriter who has left behind numerous masterpieces since the 1970s, and the author of "Love Me Like a Man," a song covered by Bonnie Raitt and Diana Krall. This is his first album in six years, and it is a dignified album with his heartfelt vocals and blues, country, folk, and other music. Produced by his close friend and multi-instrumentalist David Goodrich, who has worked with Morpheen and others on drums, this is Smither's first album in six years. The drums are played by Bill Conway, who has worked with Morpheen and others, and Suitcase Junket and others.
