Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Madison McFerrin completes her long-awaited debut album, I Hope You Can Forgive Me, a sonic expression of the next step she must take after captivating the world with her three EPs. Independent artist/producer Madison McFerrin is releasing her debut album, I Hope You Can Forgive Me. The album represents the evolution of her career as she has found ways to improvise and self-produce in an ever-changing global pandemic. Following the a cappella projects that attracted early fans ("Finding Foundations: Vol. I" and "Finding Foundations: Vol. II"), she collaborated with her brother, Taylor McFerrin, on the EP "You + I," the first instrumental The EP "You + I" was the first project in which he used musical instruments.And "I Hope You Can Forgive Me" takes that next step in sound, exploring themes of love, self-preservation, fear, and witchcraft. The majority of the tracks are produced by Madison, who honed her craft during the pandemic. In addition to being a producer/arranger, she is also an instrumentalist, playing bass, synths, and on a few tracks, she also sings backing vocals. Also on the album is her father, Bobby McFerrin.
