The L-com PXCAP18-2005B capacitive proximity sensor is utilized for contactless object detection, part counting or positioning in industrial automation and process control applications. Our cylindrical (shielded) capacitive IOT sensor is constructed of Ni-plated brass and ABS and features a tough industrial grade IP54 housing. This sensor is unaffected by the color or transparency of objects.

This M18 threaded proximity sensor requires a power supply voltage of 90 to 250 VAC. This capacitive sensor offers a quick response AC 2-wire NC output via a 2 meter 2-wire cable for connection. Our proximity IOT sensor has industry standard form factors, making it suited for materials production, warehouse automation, robotics, automotive and food and beverage industries.

Our IOT sensor can operate at temperatures ranging from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. This sensor comes with a LED indicator for switching status. The L-com PXCAP18-2005B capacitive sensor also includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
