Grasshopper also includes a family of low tables conceived as a minimal planetary system. Suspended at different heights, they turn as if floating in thin air, supporting the hypothesis that a gentle spirit is an ethereal gift. The low tables use the same materials and combine with the main round tabletop to produce secondary, differently sized tables that can be moved along the perimeter, tracing out circular orbits.

The versatility of these tables derives not only from their clear, geometric aesthetic and their different sizes and heights, but also from the variety of finishes available for the top. Easily adaptable, they add an equally refined touch to the private living room or the public lounge area.

The Grasshopper Table range launched in 2017 was designed by Piero Lissoni for Knoll, and includes an exciting new style of coffee table. The design is available in a wide range of tops including glass, wood, and marble. Knoll's new marble, Rosso Rubino, makes its debut on the Grasshopper table range; this rich, intricate stone features hues that can vary from bright red, cool violet and moss green, with white and green veins. The base of this table can be configured in polished chrome, burnished metal, or black powder coated.
Marble tops have 4 separate layers of a special polyester coating, to ensures that the marble remains pristine for many years.

The large table tops weigh over 100kg and delivery charges reflect the additional manpower required. Prices assume UK mainland delivery on the ground floor with easy access. Please request a quote for delivery if your circumstances are different. As the tables are so large and heavy, additional delivery charges apply to deliveries above ground floor and where access is difficult.
