The Sorrows
Description:
<The 24th issue of the "60's GARAGE ROCKIN' OLDAYS" reissue series, supervised by Jimmy Masuko and presented by All Days Records, is a collection of Piccadilly recordings by the Sorrows, a solid beat group from Coventry. Hailing from Coventry, the Solows are a solid beat group who had a slight hit with "Take A Heart". Their tight, edgy, and awesome sound was impactful enough, but it was too gloomy and hard to remain popular in swingin' London, which was shifting to psychedelic music. The band had a great sound, but it was not glamorous. The members of the band quit one by one, and they finally found their way to Italy like The Primitives. However, the Piccadilly era in England and the Muira era in Italy were almost two different bands. In both cases, the unique sound that remained was to be highly acclaimed from the 1980s onward. This album focuses on the Piccadilly material up to 1967, with vocalist Don Fardon and guitarist Pip Witcher.~Commentary from Commentary: Jimmy Masuko
