Nestlé NAN HA Infant Formula Step 1 400g (For Babies 0-12 Months)

NAN HA® Infant Formula Step 1 is a formula for infants from birth until 12 months. It provides your baby with nutrients for their growth and development. NAN HA® Infant Formula Step 1 contains a partially hydrolysed protein blend, which is cow's milk protein broken down into smaller pieces. NAN HA® Infant Formula Step 1 also contains: 

• Bifidobacterium lactis probiotic that helps to improve a beneficial intestinal microflora and may help to reduce the incidence of diarrhoea. 
• DHA 61mg/100g and ARA 61mg/100g. 
• Calcium, Vitamin D and Iron.

However, if your baby already has a declared allergy to cow's milk protein, do not use NAN HA® Infant Formula Step 1 without asking your health professional. The introduction of any other formula or cow's milk must only be carried out under health professional supervision. 

Protein is important:

• To help build and repair body tissues.
• For growth and development.
• To provide amino acids necessary for protein synthesis.

Feeding Table: 

Mothers are encouraged to exclusively breastfeed their children from birth until 6 months and continue to breastfeed until 2 years of age. Complementary foods should be introduced when the baby is 6 months old. Before you decide to use a follow-up formula, consult your health professional for advice.

Note: This feeding table is only for your guidance. A term baby, weighing 2.5kg or more, needs an average of 150mL/kg body weight of milk per day. This is divided into 6, 7 or 8 feeds according to the baby's age. The exact amount at one feed varies. Complementary food should be introduced to your baby from 6 months of age. Please consult your baby's health professional. 

*To maintain the number of living probiotic cultures (Bifidobacterium lactis CNCM I-3446), the boiled water must be cooled down to about 40°C before adding the powder. 

Important: Use only the enclosed scoop. Using more or less powder than indicated will either lead to dehydration of deprive your baby of proper nutrition. Do not change proportions without medical advice.

Partially Hydrolysed Whey Protein (Cow's Milk), Lactose (Cow's Milk), Vegetable Oil (Palm Olein, Coconut, Low Eruric Acid Rapeseed, Sunflower), Minerals (Calcium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Potassium Iodide, Manganese Sulphate, Sodium Selenate, Ferrous Sulphate, Zinc Sulphate, Cupric Sulphate), Emulsifier (Soya Lecithin), Docosahexaenoic Acid (from Schizochytrium sp. Oil), Arachidonic Acid (from Mortierella alpina Oil), Vitamins (A, D, E, K, C, B1, B2, Nicotinamide, B6, B9, B5, B12, Biotin), L-phenylalanine, Taurine, Nucleorides, L-histidine, L-carnitine, Inositol, Probiotic Cultures (Bifidobacterium lactis CNCM I-3446). Contains permitted emulsifier. Food additive is of plant or synthetic origin.

Storage: 

• Store the tin in a cool and dry place, before and after opening. 
• For freshness, use contents within 3 weeks after opening. 

Cautions/Warnings: 

• Only prepare one bottle at each feeding. 
• Feed immediately and follow the preparation instructions exactly. 
• Always hold your baby while feeding. Leaving baby unattended may cause choking.
