Description:
The soundtrack disc of the 1989 school comedy classic "Time Limit is 3:00 P.M.," directed by Phil Joanneau, is being reissued on LP to commemorate the 35th anniversary of its release. Steven Spielberg executive-produced the film, which failed at the box office but was a hit on home video and is still a favorite of Generation X. The soundtrack was mostly done by Tangerine Dream in its mid-80s heyday, with Sylvester Levey assisting on a few tracks. The film comes with an insert of original posters by Drew Struzan, known for his work on "Star Wars," "Indiana Jones," and "Blade Runner." Tangerine Dream is a pioneering force in the world of electronic music; formed in Germany in 1967, they released a series of groundbreaking instrumental albums in the 1970s, followed by highly successful film soundtracks. Led by Edgar Froese, they have scored more than 60 films, most notably "Risky Business," "Firestarter," "Thief," and "Legend.
