Description:
Bob Dylan 1983 analog release of "Infidels" released in 1983. The title "Infidels" (meaning "atheist" or "pagan") suggests a will to break away from his previous activities. The title "Infidel" (meaning "atheist" or "pagan") suggests a break with Dylan's previous activities. These changes made Dylan's old fans rejoice as he returned to his original form. The album was produced by Dylan himself and Mark Knopfler, and with the participation of Sly & Robbie, Mick Taylor, and others, as well as Mark's excellent guitar, it became an album with a high degree of calmness and perfection. As a testament to Dylan's insatiable appetite for production, many songs were recorded for this album, and those that did not make it onto the album were later released as outtakes.
