Secret Wars #8 is the eighth issue of a 12-issue limited series published by Marvel Comics in 2015. The issue was written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Esad Ribic. The story continues with the battle between the forces of the Insurgency and God Doom on Battleworld. The Insurgency is led by Reed Richards, who has gathered a team of heroes from across the multiverse to challenge Doom's rule. This issue features the introduction and origin of Spider-Man's "Black Costume" that later became Venom.
