Widely acclaimed for their moving album "Amens," a fulfillment of a promise made to Chester, Gray Days is also releasing an acoustic EP on vinyl, featuring a different vocal take. Last June, Grey Days, the band Chester Bennington formed as a teenager in his hometown of Phoenix before Linkin Park, released "Amens," a major label album that was a dream of Chester's before his death, impressing fans worldwide. The band returned to the studio in October to work with producer Billy Bush (Garbage, Muse) on a selection of Chester's alternate vocal tracks. The concept of this acoustic release had been discussed by the Gray Daze prior to the release of "Amens," and they were confident that this release would give a new dimension to the material and highlight Chester's immense talent that they had only been able to see in the studio.One of the interesting things about working with a great singer like Chester is that the further you get away from his surroundings, the more you understand and hear the subtle nuances of his voice," said Gray Days co-founder and drummer Sean Dowdell.
