This left-side-opening tent features a high-opening gas-strut-assisted hinge for quick, easy setups and takedowns. The new design eliminates the need for front rainfly poles—replaced with an integrated hoop for simple rain coverage. Inside, enjoy 360° views through oversized windows (two 40” x 23” side windows, a 28” x 30” door, and a 43” x 7” rear window), plus a 36” x 20” skylight for stargazing.

Built for superior sleep, the Armadillo Horizon 2 includes a plush Self-inflating mattress with dual fill ports, allowing more interior space for bedding. ECO13B fabric with Light Suppression Technology (LST) creates a cool, dark retreat, even on bright summer mornings. The tent also includes a built-in USB LED light bar (white, amber, and blended modes), bug mesh for all openings, and weather canopies for protection and airflow.

Storage is another Horizon strong point. From the overhead six-pocket gear loft and bedside storage to the hanging organizer and boot bag, there’s a place for everything. A dual T-slot rail system on the roof supports 50 lbs of gear like solar panels or recovery gear, while the power module—featuring 12V, USB-A, and USB-C ports—connects via pre-wired SP-50 Anderson plug.
