Designed in house by team rider Brendon Cross & Co-owner of Soggybones Luke Ward, the Chook Pool design pays homage to one of the best pools that we as a team skated. It is the pool that Brendon Cross got his first double page ad with Santa Cruz skateboards captured by co-owner of Soggybones Justin Ward and it is a pool that just holds so many special memories for us here at SB.

This 10 colour screen printed front graphic that is 19cm in width x 30cm in height also features yellow puff printing details in the yolk & lightning bolts within the graphic.

The graphic depicts the pool owner Geoff (R.I.P) drinking in his underwear, which was usually the case when we skated his pool, he would have us fetch him drinks and cigarettes in return we could freely session his empty pool, he had the worlds biggest satellite dish in his yard that was littered with chickens free roaming laying eggs. He would also tell us random stories that would often be conspiracy theories so Brendon decided to throw in an alien throwing the peace sign to finalise the concept with the pool in the centre of the design. We decided to fill the pool back with water as it no longer exists and we think that’s what old Geoff would appreciate. Him being ‘legless’ around his pool with his chickens.
