Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio in Seat Ibiza (2014-2017) car models WITH HEATED SEATS

This fitting kit allows you to replace the original factory fitted head unit in the vehicle with a new aftermarket Double DIN version, retaining the original dashboard appearance and the steering wheel control functions.

This head unit fitting kit includes the following:

Fakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector (21-123K)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

The phantom power feed terminates in a male bullet connector to make the phantom power lead easier to connect to ISO cables and steering wheel control interfaces with a female bullet connection for the electric antenna turn on. We also have this part available with a junior timer receptacle terminal to make it easy to connect into the electric antenna turn on position of a standard ISO connector, the 21-123.

Seat steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable (49-VW-01)

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Seat cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade.

The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.

The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.

This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons. Note; the operation of these buttons can be dependent on the vehicle specification and radio compatibility, see the instructions for more information.

The CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.

Universal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)

Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

Seat Ibiza Double DIN flush fit fascia adapter MATT BLACK (50-342/PRO)

This fascia adapter panel is to fit a double din aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

The fascia is a matt black finish and is a flush mount style so it replaces the radio trim supplied with the aftermarket radio. This gives a flush professional finish to the installation.

The fascia is supplied with a double din fitting cage. Standard cages supplied with aftermarket radios are too big for the fascia trim.

Fits Seat Ibiza Mk4 (2008 - 2017). Will not fit cars with original MIB II colour screen.

On cars built between 2014 and 2017 a new button panel and extension loom is required to move the hazard switch and other controls from the original radio to the area next to the gear stick. The exact parts required will depend on the original specification of the car.

Seat Ibiza replacement button panel with all symbols (SEAT-HAT7)

Replacement button assembly panel for Seat Ibiza cars. When fitting a new double din head unit into a 2014 onward Seat Ibiza, the buttons from the original radio panel need to be relocated. Earlier models had more buttons on the panel down by the gear stick, a button panel from an earlier model car is required.

See the image below for examples of the earlier and newer models with the different positions of hazard, ESP and airbag buttons. The button panel from the earlier car pictured to the left will be needed for the newer car pictured to the right.
