We highly recommend adding:

The best high pressure 3/8" ball valve (6292.SM) to this order to allow you to turn off the high pressure flow of water to switch from the gun to a Whisper Wash Classic surface cleaner (4345W). You need 4 x 2.5 orifice 25 degree nozzles for a four tip bar (2812) or 2 x 4.5 orifice 25 degree nozzles for a two tip bar (1122).

       This pressure washer must be tank fed with a minimum 1.5" non-collapsible suction hose (AGC24), 1.5" 80 mesh y-strainer (YS24H), the special 3/4" to 1.5" hose barb for the pump inlet (5049), 1.5" hose barbs (HB2424P), stainless steel hose clamps and the 1.5" bulkhead (BH24) or assembly for a tote outlet (CL32). Bypass back to a bulkhead (4468) and brass elbow (4796) installed so that the return water does not spray back at the inlet and cause air bubbles. The jump hose off the unloader to the hose reel swivel should be 1/2" ID and the first 50' off the reel should be upsized to 1/2" ID high pressure hose (505047BLK) as well.

 We carry everything you need to plumb this pressure washer in a kit which is part number, PL-8-TA for a horizontal leg tank or PL-8-TO for an IBC tote. This kit has everything but the water and liquid Teflon!

Choose a 9.0 turbo nozzle for this pressure washer. 

Do not adjust your unloader!

The unloader is set at a spike pressure of 200 psi above the operating pressure of the pump and meant to be left alone. If you need less pressure, change out the nozzles to a larger orifice and never smaller than what is called for using factory specifications using gpm and pressure. This unit requires a 8.5 orifice or larger. you can add a 6540-8 JROD kit to play with nozzle distances and pressures.

       Always install your chemical injector at least 2-3 feet downstream from your unloader to prevent back-siphoning of chemicals into the internal wetted components of your unloader. Always remove your chemical injector when not in use. Take a look at the orifice inside the chemical injector and notice the restriction it causes in flow and pressure. When using your surface cleaner, you need as much flow and pressure as possible. 

       Install a high temperature Hudson float valve (Hudson-HT) using everything you need to install it into your water tank with our Hudson Installation Kit (HB). The Hudson installation kit installs into the very top of the tank using a bulkhead and barb to prevent the tank from over-flowing.
