Description

The LM-50-5S-TLR-16X400LTL-LED Megatower™ by Larson Electronics is a seven-stage telescoping light tower designed for reliable, high-intensity LED illumination over large areas. This Megatower™ reaches up to 58 feet in height for maximum coverage, and can retract to 22 feet when a compact profile is needed. It features sixteen 500-watt LED light heads producing up to 1,036,800 lumens of light, mounted on a stable, powder-coated aluminum mast head with a hydraulic lift system.

• Stability: Rated to withstand up to 125 mph winds (fully retracted) or 95 mph (lowered to 22 feet)

Trailer and Stability

• Dimensions: 21 feet long by 7 feet wide trailer bed, expanding to a 34’ x 12’ footprint with outriggers extended
• Outriggers: Four 6-foot I-beams with leveling jacks, each rated at 7,000 lbs
• Trailer Construction: 8-inch steel box frame finished with industrial-grade Dupont™ paint for rust and corrosion protection
• Axles: Tandem 7,000 lb axles with electric brakes; P235/80R16 tubeless tires

Control System

• Control Box: NEMA 3R breaker panel with individual on/off switches for each LED bank
• Power Input: Compatible with 240/120V or 208/120V, with a 20-foot SOOW power cable
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Controls: Operated by a push-button switch and up/down lever for smooth vertical extension and retraction

Cold Weather Package

Equipped for extreme cold with a de-icing system, heated pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and insulated battery and compressor housing, this Megatower™ operates reliably in temperatures as low as -65°C.
