This album, the fifth in a series of live recordings by KISS, was recorded on November 28, 1984 at the Mid-Hudson Arena in Poughkeepsie, New York, as part of the "Animalize World Tour" and is the only soundboard recording to feature third-generation guitarist Mark St. John. This is known as the only soundboard recording of the show to feature third-generation guitarist Mark St. John. The setlist of this historic show includes "Young and Waystead" and "Rock 'n' Roll All Night," both of which were originally recorded for archival purposes, but were cut off in the middle due to loss during tape changes and insufficient tape remaining, resulting in incomplete tracks. Although the tracks are incomplete, they are historically important live recordings due to the fact that St. John participated in the recording. (C)RS
