The US version of this concert, held after Ronnie Lane, formerly of The Faces, was diagnosed with an incurable disease, will also feature the above three top musicians, as well as Bill Wyman and Charli Watts of The Rolling Stones, Kenny Jones formerly of The Faces and The Who, and session musicians Simon Phillips, Ray Cooper, and Andy Fairweather Lowe. Simon Phillips, Ray Cooper, and Andy Fairweather Lowe, who are well known as session musicians, will participate as supporting members. Steve Winwood will be unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts, but will be replaced by Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Paul Rodgers (formerly of Free~Bad Company), and Joe Cocker. Of the nine concerts held in the U.S., the December 3 concert in Daly City, California was recorded and broadcast for television. The audio masters used for the broadcast have been discovered and remastered for release in the best possible sound quality.The setlist consisted of 8 songs with Eric Clapton, 6 songs with Eric Clapton, Ron Wood & Joe Cocker, 6 songs with Jeff Beck, 6 songs with Jimmy Page (including 5 songs with Paul Rodgers), and 3 songs with the whole band. This live album contains 29 songs and is available in its entirety on two CDs. The highlight of the concert is a performance by Eric Clapton and Ron Wood featuring Joe Cocker, which differs from the London version, and a performance by Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers, which later led to the formation of The Firm!
