This is a 1979 album by Tommy Tate, a Southern singer known for his tasteful voice, mainly during his Coco label days until the mid-1970s, after his transition from the Stax group Nightingales to a solo career. This is a representative album from the MALACO era, based in Jackson, Florida, where he was born but also grew up. (C)RS
