Guitarist/singer/songwriter Alan Ross, also known for his work with the folk-rock duo Ro-Ro, has released his masterpiece on CD in a paper jacket! (Original release: 1977 / Ebony Records)Guitarist/singer/songwriter Alan Ross is also known for his work with the folk rock duo Ro Ro in the early 70s. After two albums with the band, he led a new band under the production of Tony Visconti, consisting of Ed Spevock (ds) formerly of Babe Ruth, Frank Wilson (key) formerly of Warhorse, and others, and released his first album "Erik's Blues Rock", which was based on the funky blues rock of the previous band, but more conscious of the American market. The band's stylish AOR sense, which follows Eric Clapton at the time, is also a must-hear.
