• Foods in the refrigerator can lose their flavor and take on the taste and odor of other stored items. The GE WG03F03764 ODORFILTER filter will reduce strong odors from onions, garlic, fish and spoiled foods to help keep your fridge fresh and clean. The air filter lets air actively pass through the filter, helping neutralize odor and bacteria and reduces odors 15 times better than baking soda.
  
• For the best results it is recommended that you replace the filter every 6 months. A reminder will appear on the main screen after 6 months to change the filter. The Odor Filter is located in the upper left corner of the fresh food compartment.
  
• Installation Instructions:
  1. Remove the cover of the odor filter by sliding the front portion towards the front of the refrigerator.
  2. Remove the old filter by pulling out.
  3. Remove the replacement filter from the plastic.
  4. Insert the filter into the housing by pushing it in. The filter will snap into place.
  5. Replace the filter cover by sliding it on from the front. Make sure the front edge is flush against the refrigerator wall.
  
• Resetting your filter change indicator light:
  From the main screen on the LCD select Settings. Scroll until Odor Filter is visible and press. This shows the current status of the filter and how to reorder. To reset the reminder, press Reset.
