When a barrel is called 'RED' - reddish colour of aged wood, it means it has reached the perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the eaux-de-vie, allowing for an ideally balanced exchange between the two.
Nose: Round and fresh bouquet, run through by intense fruity notes. In motion, aromas gain depth, with fleshier fruits such as apricot or vine peach chiming in.
Taste: Intense aromas of luscious yellow fruit - mirabelle plum, greengage, apricot and vine peach with subtle hints of wood and soft spices.
Eye: Warm copper colour with glints of gold, giving it a uniquely luminous appearance.
