A matched pair of 18th-century French mould-blown glass decanters with hand-gilded decoration - elongated teardrop bodies, narrow necks and original stoppers, the surface cut with a simple repeating vertical flute that catches the light as the glass moves.

Both stoppers are original and fit well - a rarity in decanters of this age, where stoppers are frequently missing or mismatched.

Both decanters in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage to stoppers.
