DESCRIPTION

The Standard Series PTO Stump Grinder is a powerful and low-maintenance solution for eliminating tree stumps with precision and ease. Designed for Category 1, 3-point hitch tractors, this grinder operates without hydraulic components, reducing complexity and long-term maintenance costs. Its 24" diameter cutting wheel, spinning at 540 RPM, is equipped with 34 replaceable carbide shear blades that slice through wood and root systems with ease. With a cutting depth of 6.7" below ground, it ensures stumps are fully removed and covered, leaving no trace behind. The grinder includes a PTO shaft with a slip clutch for added durability and protection, while hinge pins allow the cutting wheel to float and follow ground contours, minimizing stress on the unit. The wheel remains visible from the operator’s seat, enhancing safety and control during operation. For transport and storage, a locking pin secures the wheel, and dual kickstands keep the unit stable when not in use.
