Inspired by the myth of their namesake La Huesera, these Earweights come with the simple premise of a pair of bones suspended on a thick hinged ring, while being a well of symbolism. Rooted in folklore, the enigmatic spirit of the Bone Woman gathers bones in the desert until she has a full skeleton, to bring it back to life with her song. 

In many myths bones symbolize the indestructible soul-spirit, so La Huesera is what awakens the broken soul to new life. It is said that her lessons are not always easy of comfortable, but they are always necessary and with love.
