Measure the center-to-center distance between your two pulleys, then use this formula: Perimeter ≈ 2 × center distance + (π × pulley pitch diameter). For example, a 200mm center distance with two 15-tooth 3M HTD pulleys typically yields a perimeter around 501–510mm. Always verify against your machine's actual belt path before ordering. If you're replacing an existing belt, measure the old belt's inner circumference directly.
This belt uses a 3mm HTD (High Torque Drive) tooth profile. It is designed to mesh with standard 3M HTD pulleys only. It is not interchangeable with GT2 (2mm pitch), T5 (5mm pitch), or other profiles — always confirm your pulley's pitch marking before purchasing.
Polyurethane 3M HTD belts generally handle moderate torque loads suitable for CNC routing, 3D printing, and light automation. Wider belts (20mm, 30mm) carry proportionally higher loads than narrower widths (10mm, 15mm). Polyurethane offers better moisture and light oil resistance than standard rubber belts, making it generally suitable for indoor CNC environments with occasional coolant mist exposure. This is a closed-loop (endless) belt — it has no seam or mechanical joint. It is designed for continuous loop drive systems where the belt runs in a fixed circuit around pulleys, as found in most CNC machines and 3D printers. If you need open-ended belt sold by the meter, that is a different product type.
The belt body is made from polyurethane (PU), which provides flexibility, abrasion resistance, and better chemical resistance than rubber.
