Strong, light, organic, beautiful. These words describe the Eames DCW, designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1946. 

This set is from the first batch of production, by Evans Products Company, Molded Plywood Division, and has lived a full life. At one point, likely decades ago, the shells were drilled during a shock mount replacement. They have since been professionally restored, but as the photos show, you can see evidence of that repair. 

These chairs show a 5-2-5 screw pattern and while they do not have tags, there is the remains of old adhesive from where they once were. 

Otherwise, these chairs are in good, usable condition for being 70 years old. A great opportunity to own a design classic at a reasonable price.
