After many designs, revisions and fitments, Mechman Alternator's highly requested triple alternator bracket is here for the GM LS Truck/SUV based applications for the drivers' side mounted alternators! 

As with all Mechman products, they set out to not only raise the bar but to BE THE BAR.  Building off the incredibly solid foundation of our previous released dual bracket, this triple bracket is like no other on the market as well. This bracket will accommodate all GM based alternators with a 2" spool mount and a 5.5" bolt spread pattern.  (Reference P# 8206400 tech drawing in gallery).  

We feel that their signature billet alternators are the perfect complement to this robust bracket both from a performance and cosmetic aspect. (8206 for rear output stud fitment, 14019 for top/side output stud fitment)

Key and unique features of this kit:

1.  Double shear alternator mounting.  Not just a single thick plate, this is as robust or more robust than an OEM mounting fitment.

2.  Replaces the OEM bracket completely and utilizes OEM threaded holes in the engine for maximum rigidity. 

3.  Unique single tool adjustable idler with defined notches for solid lockdown to accommodate a wide variety of belt sizes. 

4.  Maximum belt wrap specifically in key areas to utilize all alternator power with minimal to no belt slip. 

5.  Only triple alternator kit available with all three alternators on a single plane for maximum performance and cosmetics.

What this kit will resolve where others fall short:

1.  Harnessing ALL of the alternators power due to higher belt grip. Belt dust = slip = heat = power lost. 

2.  Belt life and convenience. 

3.  Laser alignment for no "side belt" or bracket rub from flex or poor design.

4.  No overheating of the usual "bottom mount" 3rd alternator which in turn heats up the alternator above. 

5.  Eye appeal.  All alternators are oriented the same direction making plug and output stud easily accessible.  

Why do you need to run a triple alternator kit?

1.  You need MAXIMUM output at vehicle idle RPM's (snowplow, winching, car audio demo/show).  600+ possible.

2.  Run OEM alternator and have two dedicated alternators for accessories (snowplow, winching, car audio demo/show).

3.  Multiple voltage setups.  12v battery for one alternator, 14v battery for 2nd and 16v+ for auxiliary / remote battery. 

4.  Ultra high-end audio setup with multiple batteries. 

5.  It simply looks incredible and makes a huge statement when the hood is open. 

NOTES:  

1.  This kit does require the removal and reinstallation of the OEM power steering pulley. This is a simple 5min task that all parts stores will have the tool to perform. Most if not all stores will rent this tool for FREE making it even easier. 

2.  The steel brackets in this kit will arrive to you zinc coated for no rust intrusion and paintable by the customer to suit their cosmetic needs. Brackets can be installed as is/no paint and still be perfectly fine from environmental elements. 

3.  We use a high-quality GATES BRAND belt with this kit. P# K061369 which is a 6 rib 136.9" belt. This belt has been proven to accommodate (3) 1.75" pulleys as well as a (3) 2.2" pulley diameter arrangement if needed.
