Brooklyn-based experimental artist Juliana Barwick releases her long-awaited fourth album, the follow-up to 2013's "Nepenthes," also on Dead Oceans. Berwick's music continues to captivate listeners with beautiful strings and layered, luminous vocals. Inspired by his travels over the past few years, the self-produced album was created over the course of more than a year in a variety of locations, from a dilapidated, uninhabited house in upstate New York to the Moog Factory in Asheville, N.C. to Lisbon, Portugal. Recording artists include Thomas Arsenault aka Mas Ysa, cellist Maarten Vos, and Jamie Ingalls, drummer for the synth-pop duo Chairlift.
