This is a package deal of both the 2.4L Engine Swap power steering bracket and the 2.4L Engine swap adapter. This package of both popular items for 2.4L swap guys saves you some money!

For those of you who are going to attempt a 2.4L engine swap into your 95-99 Neon, you'll need this adapter to mount the engine to the passenger side engine mount.

This engine mount allows you to use your factory unmodified engine mount, along with the 95-99 STRATUS 2.4L engine mount to put any 2.4L engine into your car.

Note: The engine mount adapter is the billet aluminum "A-shaped" piece. It does NOT include the OEM Mopar side engine mount.

DETAILS ON THE 2.4L Power Steering Bracket

If you're planning on swapping a 2.4L engine in your 95-99 Neon and want power steering, in the past you'd more than likely use a PT Cruiser bracket. The problem with that power steering bracket was that it:

Didnt have the correct spacing to place the power steering pump in line with the crank pulley. You have to then use a bunch of washers to space it in line with the crank pulley.

There are no adjustment slots cut to allow for the power steering to be tensioned.

Over time, because the bracket only bolts on with two holes, it will begin to crack and fail like the bracket below. This has happened with a LOT of Neon owners with a 2.4L swap.
