Rory Gallagher was a soulful rock guitarist from Ireland. His blues-spirited guitar playing still has a strong following among rock fans around the world, even 24 years after his death. The album was produced by Roger Glover of Deep Purple/Rainbow, and introduced elements of hard rock, breaking new ground and gaining new fans. Following the release of the new album, the band embarked on a North American/UK/Ireland tour that began in Los Angeles, California, on October 20 of the same year and took them to their hometown in Ireland. The CD recording of the concert in Los Angeles, California on November 18 of the same year has finally been released! The concert was recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour" and has only been broadcast on air. The set list of the day was 17 songs including encores, but due to the time constraints of the program, 9 songs were selected.The program consisted of songs from the new album "Calling Card" and the previous album "Against the Grain". The audience responded well to the new songs, which incorporate the essence of hard rock, and the band gave a great performance, showing the dignity of a top rock guitarist.
