Latin Name: Hibiscus Summerific® var. 'Spinderella'

Description: This unique variety of perennial Hibiscus is part of the Summerific® series by Proven Winners, featuring an abundance of massive, delicate blooms from late summer until the first frost. The extremely large, white flowers open from abundant buds are prized for their "pinwheel" pattern, featuring ruffled pale pink edges of the overlapping petals, and a bright red central eye. From this eye, protrudes a style clad in ivory stamens and a terminal white stigma. The blossoms are adored by bees and butterflies, blooming prolifically over the cut, medium-green foliage. Loud and proud, this specimen makes for a gorgeous garden centerpiece. Please note that this plant dies completely back in the winter, and is one of the last to emerge in the summer, oftentimes only becoming noticeable again in mid June. Remove spent blooms to encourage a larger number of flowers.
