Go Berkey® Kit – Compact Stainless Steel Gravity-Fed Water Filter System

The Go Berkey® Kit is the smallest stainless steel Berkey® gravity-fed water filter system, designed for personal use at home, at work, at school, or while traveling. Its compact size makes it easy to place on a desk, countertop, dorm-room shelf, or other small space where a larger system may not be practical.

Made from polished AISI 304 stainless steel, the Go Berkey® Kit offers the convenience of gravity-fed filtration in a lightweight, portable design. The system is intended for 1–2 people and holds approximately 1 quart (0.95 liters) of filtered water. 

The Go Berkey® Kit includes one Black Berkey® Element and requires no electricity, plumbing, or water pressure. Simply fill the upper chamber and allow gravity to move water through the filtration element into the lower chamber.

About the Black Berkey® Element

The Go Berkey® Kit includes one Black Berkey® Element, designed for use in Berkey® gravity-fed systems.

Black Berkey® Elements are designed to reduce a broad range of potential contaminants commonly found in drinking water supplies, including:

• Lead and mercury
• Chlorine and chloramines
• VOCs
• Trihalomethanes (THMs)
• Petroleum-related compounds
• Pharmaceutical residues
• Rust, sediment, and particulates

The element is also designed to retain beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium.

The included element is rated for approximately 3,000 gallons of filtration before replacement is recommended.

Important PF-2™ Compatibility Note

The Go Berkey® Kit is not compatible with PF-2™ Fluoride & Arsenic Reduction Filters due to the system's compact size.

Assembly & Operation

Before first use, prime the Black Berkey® Element according to the included instructions.

After priming, install the element in the upper chamber using the included washer and wing nut. Fill the upper chamber with water and allow gravity to move water through the filtration element into the lower chamber.

No electricity, plumbing, or water pressure is required.

Care & Maintenance

• Prime the element before first use.
• Re-prime after extended storage if needed.
• Clean the element when the flow noticeably decreases. 
• Do not use soap or cleaning chemicals on the filter element.
• Replace the element after approximately 3,000 gallons of use.
• Do not use with salt water.
• Do not use with salt-based softened water.
