A truly exquisite Georgian ring, overflowing with detail, craftsmanship, and deeply romantic symbolism.

At the centre of the ring sits an emerald, its vivid green tones glowing beautifully against a surrounding halo of pearls in alternating sizes. The soft lustre of the pearls perfectly complements the intensity of the emerald, creating the wonderfully elegant colour combinations so beloved during the Georgian era.

Yet it is the mount itself that makes this ring especially extraordinary! Created entirely by hand, the gold band has been engraved with intricate floral decoration, including what appear to be delicate forget-me-not flowers on each shoulder. The engraving continues uninterrupted around the entire back of the band and even along the outer edges of the ring. An astonishing level of detail rarely seen.

The craftsmanship speaks of a time when jewellery was created slowly and meticulously, with no expense or effort spared. Every surface has been considered and adorned, giving the ring a richness and depth that reveals something new from every angle.

Condition: This is overall lovely antique condition with only a fine patina of wear to the gold. There is a  possible historical sizing at the back only noticeable on one edge.
