This scarf is the result of a new collaboration with italian based-in-Madrid artist Saul Zanolari. Saul’s work reflects a twisted and sinister cartoon version of the world in which we live. His portraits are a fusion of fashion clips, graphic drawing and pop art, representing unusual subjects such as internationally recognisable Drag Queens, Porcelain Dolls or Fashion Icons– his oeuvre is a surreal, two-dimensional wax museum made up of paintings.
ABOUT THIS SCARF
For this capsule collection Incontaminato design label released a series of prints dedicated to his fashion works, on a large 150cmx150cm modal + nylon cloth. How to? To be worn with an avant-garde outfit, or to be admired on a empty home wall.
This scarf is dedicated to Diane Pernet, known for her work as a journalist, critic, curator and talent scout. A pioneer of digital culture, she was the first launch in 2005 her now-cult blog: A Shaded View on Fashion. Considered as impactful as mainstream media, it gives a visionary outlook on fashion and creative industries. Her past a designer in New York, a photographer and film-maker are fundamental in this festival that stands at the crossroads between fashion and film. She launched her own perfume line in 2014 with the Intertrade group, available from Liberty London and Milan’s Corso Como. She launched in 2008 A Shaded View on Fashion Film (ASVOFF), the internationally known first annual festival in the world about fashion films.
