1950's Miss Brooks New York Dress

This is a Gorgeous Bird's Egg Blue 1950's Dress by Miss Brooks New York. It appears to be a Silk Shantung. This is a fitted dress with 3/4 sleeves, a long metal zipper back, and a seamed inset waist area. On the top and bottom of that inset there is an illusion bow look (see photograph #2). The body of the dress through the hips is lined in a rose color. This is a finely tailored dress. It even has the little snaps and crocheted string for attaching your bra straps. The roses on the shoulder are for photography purposes.

Length - 37 1/8" (from just below what would be the collar area)

MINT CONDITION - This is a Lovely Dress and there is only one foible I see. There is the ever so slightest fading on the shoulders where it has been stored on a hanger. This might come out. As it is now it is not noticeable except upon close examination. This is a Lovely Dress to Add to Your Collection and to Wear for Your Special Outings.
