Vintage kimono cotton dress

This butterfly/apron style dress is made from a beautiful cotton kimono with lovely flower pattern. The background colour is grey and flower pattern is navy blue.

You can enjoy this dress with the attached belts tied in front or at back as well. Wear a round neck side or V neck side for front as your liking. I recommend to wear something underneath of the dress like a t-shirt.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1980s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, colour fade and old smell etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
