Lovely 1950s needlepoint wool handbag with petit pointe center bouquet. Floral design is on front and back as well as one the sides and bottom of the bag. It's a framed bag and the metal frame has a beautiful inset carving and the ball clasps are carved as well. The bag is lined with a green silk faille fabric which has numerous pockets, one with zipper. The chain handle is particularly pretty. There are little brass feet on the bottom, for protection. The bag is in good condition, with a few small flaws to note - there are two moth nibbles near the top (pictured) and a few light spots. No maker's labels are present.
