Grow a forest, from simple herbs to mighty forest giants.

Reforest: Primeval Forest expands Reforest with a new set of plants and animal visitors, along with ancient trees, parasitic plants, and game-changing terrain modules.

This expansion can be combined with Reforest or played as a standalone game. The box also includes space to store the original Reforest.

In Reforest: Primeval Forest, players compete to grow the healthiest forest by building a tableau of plants, each with its own properties and skills.

During your turn, you choose one of two actions. You can draw cards, or you can play a plant by adding a card to your forest tableau. The cost of plants is covered by discarding other plants from your hand as nutrients. Because space is limited, taller plants can grow over smaller ones.

Each plant earns points and contributes to an ecosystem full of interactions. At the end of each round ( when the plant deck is depleted ), the player who best matches an animal visitor's preferences earns a visitor card.

The game ends when all visitors have found a home. Players then score points for both their plants and their visitors.

New elements in this expansion include: Ancient Trees that can reveal previously hidden effects and regenerate stored plants, Parasitic Plants that are free to play but feed on existing plants, and Terrain Cards that provide benefits for your different zones.
